MEETING: The next meeting will be on March 21, beginning at 8:30 AM for coffee and donuts and 9:00 AM for the meeting at the Moody Gardens Hotel in the Vine Room (first floor).
PROGRAM: Cheryl Johnson, Galveston County Tax Assessor/Collector, will be our guest speaker. Her topic is twofold: A class on “Effectively Protesting Your Values” tax legislation bill during the Texas Legislation Session. Cheryl will share her Taxing Legislation booklet with everyone and to provide information on how your folks can make a difference and what to do.
Sea Turtles Donation: The HEART (Help Endangered Animals – Ridley Turtles) organization needs your help to protect the endangered Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle.
