GLO Cleans Beach in Front of Pointe West

Earlier this week, the Texas General Land Office's contractor began working on removing the debris that washed onto our beaches during Hurricane Ike. The contractor raked the beaches and piled the debris in front of the line of vegetation to be removed by another crew. According to the GLO, it could take up to April to finish the debris removal from of all the Galveston's beaches. Attached are pictures of the work done earlier this week.
